Woods announced Wednesday via his website that he hopes to return to the PGA Tour this fall. His first likely tournament would be the Safeway Open in Napa, Cal., which begins Oct. 13. Woods has been in back surgery rehab. His most recent competition was in August 2015’s Wyndham Classic.
